Winter Solstice! Or more commonly known as DONG ZHI (in mandarin)
At least that's what i've been told by my daddy and mummy all these while...

Winter I know it's a festival celebrated during winter...

Solstice Erm Geography geography, cannot remember what Pn. Sharon said d...the name so difficult to pronounce somemore. Salty Saltys salstys...

Actually, been celebrating this festival ever since I took my first deep breath of Earth's polluted air. Haha Wahhhh.... but, never made the effort to korek the reason/story behind it. So malu . If you're like me, no worries! Never too late to find out ya... Can WIKI it or GOOGLE it or YAHOO it..

Wah so colourful hor! Vanilla white, strawberry pink, grape purple, mango yellow and apple green. But they taste nothing like how they're being described. All taste the same. Cheh.

Molding them into little round balls are fun, initially, coz after awhile, the palms start becoming flaky white with the flour all drying up and sticking stubbornly on the hand. Ah, that's when mischievousness starts to kick in.

Ah, that's when mischievousness starts to kick in! I'd start mixing colours, molding bigger ones, then smaller tiny little ones... Haha, this time I made 5 wriggly worms! And that kiwiBird made a square one... did you kiwiBird?

Bathe bathe time lor....

The soup so Orh Orh, like royal black jelly. But it's sweet and yummy, especially when served chilled. I enjoyed the whole TangYuan making process. Eyh! I didn't mention above that i'm making TangYuan. Haha paiseh...

What next? Chocolate Chip Cookies! CCC! hahaha... not funny.

Must clarify one point first - I didn't participate in the making, just the munching part only. No loss, only GAIN. But gain, in what sense leh? Haha... anyway, the cookies are fantastic. Almost like Famous Amos'. Ahhh... I feel so very blessed!

Last but not least...

Steamboat in the comforts of my cosy little house. Can sit like ahPek and eat like pig without worrying a hoot bout appearance. Haha, but of course, don't imagine me in haggard clothings, scratching my butt, while stuffing the chopsticks up my nose. Not that ugly.

So that concludes my BIG BELLY post. No wait, i had dessert after that. Made a mess in the kitchen. Yah, i know this post is not very organized. I'm just trying to piece everything together. You guys are smart, you get my story right? Must exercise... SOON... ehehe !
